CALL THE SENATE TODAY
Help Save SNAP, Housing, and Medicaid

Instead of requiring billionaires and wealthy corporations to pay their fair share of taxes, some members of the Senate plan to place the burden of our national debt onto the backs of friends, family members, and neighbors who need food, housing, and medical care support. This is immoral and unjust.

Call your Senators today or tomorrow to let them know that our economy will have what it needs when the wealthiest pay their fair share -- not when Senators cut human needs programs that vulnerable people need.

CALL NOW! Tell Your Senators:
protect housing, food, and Medicaid!

*Dial 1-888-496-3502 to reach the Senate. Be sure to call the number two times to reach both Senators.

When you call, here’s what you might say:

“Hello, my name is [YOUR NAME] from [YOUR TOWN]. I want to ask [SENATOR'S NAME] to protect SNAP, WIC, Medicaid, housing, and other vital human needs programs from harmful budget cuts and any additional work requirements.

Hard working families, people with disabilities, kids aging out of foster care, and others who need life-affirming government support are our neighbors and loved ones -- our nation’s budget must prioritize their needs. As a person of faith, I believe that it is immoral to balance the budget on the backs of those who are struggling the most.

Congress must reduce the deficit by having wealthy people and corporations pay their fair share in taxes, not by harming our neighbors with cuts to the programs that our social safety net provides. [SENATOR'S NAME], as the budget process moves forward, please reject all proposals that weaken access to healthcare, food, or housing programs.”

When you act today or tomorrow, you will help protect SNAP, WIC, Medicaid, housing assistance and other social safety net programs that hard-working families, foster children, seniors, veterans, and others rely on.

Your phone call WILL make a difference.  Thank you for your advocacy!
