We have a once-in-a-generation opportunity to advance racial and economic justice in Virginia. We need you to take action TODAY to ask Gov. Northam and key members of the General Assembly to fully fund VOICE's two priorities in the upcoming August special session:

1. Create 10 Crisis Receiving Centers -- so people with mental illness and addiction can get treatment, not jail time; 
2. Build 6,000+ units of affordable housing-- to address Virginia's affordable housing crisis. 

VOICE leaders have spent the last four months meeting with experts and politicians to determine best solutions and what would be possible politically, with a strong push by all of us. 

Now we need all of us to work collectively to send hundreds of emails today and over the weekend! And, then, please get everyone from your institution—and family and friends—to join you in this critical effort!
