President Biden and Vice President Harris pledged to end solitary confinement. Yet, thousands of people remain in solitary in federal custody each day. People continue to suffer, and die, in solitary. The Federal Anti-Solitary Taskforce released a Blueprint for how the President and Congress can and must end solitary confinement.
