First steps have been taken by Virginia legislators to limit the use of solitary confinement, and your advocacy  had a lot to do with that accomplishment, but more is now needed. 

Senate Bill 719 can help get us to the "more" that is needed by putting a time limit on the number of days that someone can spend in isolation. Please take a look at the SALT advocacy letter and consider signing the letter addressed to members of the Senate Committee on Rehabilitation and Social Services .
